Design & Build Process
Lawsons Lofts pride themselves on delivering one of the very best loft conversion services in Sussex, Surrey and Kent. If you choose to instruct us, your dream loft conversion will be taken through 3 simple stages.
1. Feasibility Survey and Quote
2. Architectural Plans
3. Work Begins
Feasibility Survey and Quote
One of our experienced and friendly advisors will visit your home to carry out a free no obligation survey. During this meeting we will discuss and advise with you what type of loft conversion is feasible for your home and take measurements required for a quotation.
We understand you only get one chance to convert your loft and therefore we pride ourselves in giving you every conceivable option that your loft conversion can have and attention to detail is as important to us as it is to you.
Ask yourself, what do you want to use the space for? Once we know your requirements and what’s feasible, we work closely with you to ensure your dream loft turns into a beautiful reality.
Architectural Plans
Once you are happy with your quotation, the next step is to have your architectural drawings produced. One of our experienced architects will visit to complete the survey and produce a set of plans.
We can also help with submitting your plans under permitted development or full planning, ensuring that all aspects of the project meet the council’s building and planning regulations. Once this work is completed, your ready for work to begin!
Works Begins
With planning or permitted development gained your loft conversion is now ready for the build to commence.
Typically a loft conversion takes approx 8 weeks. Your dedicated team of tradesmen will keep you fully informed of progress throughout to ensure maximum satisfaction and to ensure the project is completed on time.
